The AK-Alfa is an Israeli-American assault rifle developed by Kalashnikov Israel and Kalashnikov USA. The weapon was developed in the 2010s from the Saiga semi-automatic carbines chambered in 5.56mm (.223) and 7.62mm (semi-automatic or converted to select-fire by CAA). APPEARANCE

The upper receiver is metal, the lower receiver is made of durable polymer. This combination provides strength while reducing the weight of the weapon. Features include a unique design, ambidextrous fire selector, folding and retractable stock, as well as RIS rails, unconventional folding sights and enlarged magazine release.

The RIS rail runs the entire length of the upper receiver and has folding sights installed. Additional RIS are at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock - optics, collimators, flashlights, or laser sights can be easily attached. The outer 16" barrel is also metal, with a CCW M14 thread and a metal flash hider installed.

On the right side is an enlarged charging lever typical of AKs. To adjust the hop-up, simply pull the lever and make the adjustment through the ejection window. An ambidextrous AR-style fire selector (90 degree position) is located on the bottom of the body. The pistol grip is ergonomic and fits the hand perfectly. The enlarged magazine release ensures comfortable and fast reloading. Even left-handed shooters will appreciate its ambidextrous design.

The gun is equipped with a folding and extendable stock with adjustable cheekpiece. The stock is made of durable polymer and folds to the left side. To extend the stock, simply press the button in the buttplate of the stock - it has a total of 5 positions.

The battery is inserted into the upper receiver. The rear of the receiver is modified for easy access, where you just fold the stock, press the imitation Allen key and slide out the cap. Behind it there is a compartment for the battery and wiring with a DeanT connector. The compartment can accommodate a NiMH AK stick, or a dimensionally suitable Li-Po (with a maximum cross section of 17 x 14 mm, there is not enough room for TITAN Li-Ion batteries).

INTERNAL PARTS

The PLATINUM edition is characterized by the high quality parts used in the construction of this weapon. Both in the use of a 6.03 mm barrel, modified V3 gearbox with quick change spring (QSC), electronics and also upgraded internal parts. Using a 11.1V Li-Po battery, the rate of fire is 20 RPS.

The High Speed motor is backed by 13:1 steel CNC gears mounted in 8 mm ball bearings - ensure fast trigger response and high rate of fire. All this is secured by electronics with MOSFET and an electronic trigger installed in the gearbox. The muzzle velocity is 113 m/s (measured with 0.20 g).
