Nitrile hop-up bucking BASARA 50° for AEG guns

Unique hop-up bucking made of nitrile.

BASARA means diamond in Japanese. It is an old word from before the samurai.

The HOP protrusion in the bucking is in the shape of a „W“ and the BB touches at 2 points. Combined with the material used, nitrile (synthetic rubber), it allows for a more accurate and efficient spin with a little slow down of the BB - positively reflected in accuracy and range.

The shape of the protrusion was changed many times during development. The previous version was more complicated in shape - it gave good results, but it was very difficult to adjust the hop-up chamber for the correct effect. In the final version, the manufacturer simplified the design to this form, while maintaining the desired characteristics and easy adjustability of the hop-up chamber.

The result is a bucking that, while slightly reducing the muzzle speed, greatly increases the accuracy and range of the BB.

Setting

• In case of low (or no) HOP setting, the BB may slip out - increase the pressure level.
• If the HOP is set too high, a significant reduction in muzzle speed and undesirable BB trajectory may occur - reduce the pressure level.
• The manufacturer recommends a pressure range from 10% to 70%.

Approximate recommended hardness

• 50° for guns with a muzzle velocity below 110 m/s (360 FPS)
• 60° for guns with a muzzle velocity of 90 - 120 m/s (295 - 400 FPS)
• 70° for guns with a muzzle velocity of 110 - 140 m/s (360 - 460 FPS)
• 75° for guns with a muzzle velocity of 130 - 150 m/s (430 - 500 FPS)
• 80° for guns with a muzzle velocity above 150 m/s (500 FPS)
