Designed by the legendary pistol designer Frantisek Koucky, the CZ Model 75 was created with the purpose of making CZ’s mark on the world of pistols, and he most certainly succeeded. It differentiated itself from other pistols of its time with its uniquely ergonomic design from the comfortable fit of the grip to the smooth and easy pull of the slide.

Its easy trigger pull and high capacity magazine combined with its reduced recoil made this pistol an ideal choice for use by Czech Police forces and as a personal defence firearm. The CZ 75 pistol is the handgun that truly put CZ pistols on the map and made them an iconic brand the world over. It has since become the base template from which nearly all CZ pistols take their inspiration from.
