Airsoft rifle M1 Garand - wooden stock
The M1 Garand or M1 Rifle was the standard U.S. service rifle during World War II and the Korean War. The M1 rifle was named after its Canadian-American designer, John Garand. It was the first standard-issue semi-automatic military rifle. The M1 replaced the bolt-action M1903 Springfield as the standard U.S. service rifle in 1936, and in the late 50's was replaced M14 rifle. The Garand is still used by drill teams and military honor guards.
AEG airsoft replica of M1 Garand rifle by A&K.
The rifle has a stock and forearm made of dark wood with a nice pattern. All other parts - receiver, barrel, trigger guard, sling swivel, buttplate, etc. are made of metal. Everything is accurate, no looseness. The materials and construction used give the gun a respectable weight of 3.8 kg. On the outer barrel you will also find a holder for inserting the bayonet.
The weapon has a laterally and vertically adjustable rear sight, a functional trigger safety. When the charging lever is cocked, there is access to the metal hop-up chamber, which has a rotating ring for convenient adjustment of the hop-up.
Unlike the real steel gun, the magazine is inserted from the bottom and there is a magazine release on the left side. There is also the possibility of shooting in AUTO mode, which the real steel gun did not have, but for airsoft it is an interesting diversification. The SEMI and AUTO fire selector is also on the left side. The magazine has a capacity of 30 BBs. The battery is inserted into the stock through a metal buttplate / hinged window. The window has dimesions of approx. 2 x 4,5 cm and the length of the stock compartment is approx. 16,5 cm, so it is possible to insert large batteries. The rifle has a low-resistance cable with a safety and a DeanT connector.
Inside the gun is a V7 gearbox with 6 mm bearings, steel gears and a quick-change spring. The gearbox is in Marui standard and therefore compatible with spare parts of this standard (Marui/CYMA).
A&K M1 Garand is a unique piece of gun for all collectors, reenactors and everyone else who wants to diversify their airsoft game.
