CM16 Raider is an airsoft replica of the Combat Machine series by G&G. It offers high quality workmanship, good performance and reliability.

The weapon is in a lower price category than the GC or Advanced series, but definitely don't expect cheap workmanship. The body, stamped by the manufacturer and with a unique production number, is made of durable polymer and will surely convince even metal lovers.

It offers not only low weight, but also durability, and it is very well fitted. In short, the king among plastics! In addition, many parts are metal, such as the outer barrel, front sight, part of the rear sight, stock tube, sling mounts, magazine and controls (selector switch, magazine catch, ambidextrous charging handle, imitation of the forward assist button).

This replica is no slouch inside either. Although it does not contain an electronic unit, but classic trigger contacts, the rafe of fire does not offend, and thanks to good sealing, the replica has a performance of over 120 m/s.

Access to the hop-up chamber is after opening the dust cover of the ejection window. It is adjusted classically, using a side gear wheel.

The weapon is fitted with a plastic 6" RIS forearm, with rails on all sides. The advantage of this system is also the low weight. The barrel that passes through the forearm is firmly screwed and there is absolutely no risk of wobble. The whole seems much stronger than the classic M4 handguard.

The front, fixed sight is height-adjustable, the rear sight both vertically and laterally. Metal eyelets for the strap are installed on the weapon - in the front part, a part of the front sight, in the rear part, it is located between the body and the stock tube.

The battery is inserted into the plastic Crane LMT style stock. Mini CQB split battery can be inserted. The weapon has a classic MiniTamyia connector. The stock is, of course, extendable (six-position), and does not move on the tube.

As is common with branded weapons, the battery and charger are not included in the package. For reliable operation of the replica, the manufacturer recommends a 9.6V NiMH or 7.4V Li-pol battery.

The magazine is high capacity metal for 450 rounds. It impresses with its realistic gray design and 5.56x45 mm marking.

Inside the weapon is a reinforced metal gearbox with 8 mm ball bearings, steel gears and an M120 spring. The muzzle velocity of the weapon is about 124m/s. Suitable BB weight is 0.25g, we recommend using quality BBs, for example G&G or BLS.

G&G Armament's gun certainly doesn't fit in with the flood of M4 guns. It stands out for its workmanship, quality parts inside and slightly different appearance. Their precision is also a strong argument for giving it priority over the Chinese all-metal weapon.

ATTENTION
Once you set up the hop-up alway set the hop-up to minimal - the adjustment knob is turned to the left. Shoot several BBs, gently pull the adjustment knob to the right. Repeat the process until you reach the desired hop-up effect. Too much hop-up (knob turned right) can cause the BB jam and, in the extreme case, piston damage.
