TheSpecna Arms J-Series™ replica carbines are made largely from steel, with steel components including the barrel, breech cover, outer barrel, trigger guard, magazine catch, selector wing, dummy gas tube, QD mounts, extractor, pins and rivets. The rest of the metal parts are made of zinc and aluminium alloy, and the special coating used to finish them gives the replica a very realistic look. As in the firearm's original, the pistol grip and magazine are made of polymer, while the handguard and gas tube cover are made of varnished wood.
