Synthetic sleeping bag SAROS 20F/-6C Long Stargazer - BlueGray
The three-season Saros sleeping bag is the perfect choice for backcountry trips that start with a shaky forecast.
The Saros uses eraLoft™ synthetic insulation, which is quick-drying and weather resistant, making it ideal for backpacking and mountaineering in wet weather from spring to fall. The fit of the bag has been perfected in onsite cold chamber to create Thermarest W.A.R.M. fit that allows room for multiple sleep positions without compromising thermal efficiency.
The SynergyLink™ Connectors also integrate the Saros with your pad to ensure superior comfort with efficient warmth and the freedom to move as you like for the best night's rest possible. The Saros is offered in three sizes and designed to fit both men and women.
Compression / storage sack included.
- eraLoft™ Insulation: Efficient and compressible, water-resistant synthetic fill uses hollow fibers to reduce weight without sacrificing warmth.
- W.A.R.M. Fit: With Additional Room for Multiple positions (W.A.R.M.) fit means this bag allows for various natural sleep positions while maintaining thermal efficiency.
- SynergyLink™ Connectors: Removeable ultralight straps create a secure bag-to-sleeping pad connection that optimizes the comfort and thermal efficiency of your entire sleep system. SynergyLink Connectors function best with regular sized sleeping pads that are 7,5 cm thick or less when inflated.
- Zoned Insulation: Maximizes warmth and saves weight by intentionally placing fill where you need it most.
- Toe-asis™ Foot Warmer Pocket: Ergonomic toe box that rapidly warms cold feet in a pocket of warm insulation.
- Quilt and Blanket Loops: Customize your sleep system by layering Thermarest quilts or tech blankets for increased warmth.
- Additional features: Heat-trapping draft collar, full-length zipper draft tube, snag-free zipper, cinchable hood and external zip pocket.

Therm-a-Rest
In 1973, the first self-inflating air mattress was launched under the brand name Therm-a-Rest, which was the joint effort of Jim Lee, Neil Anderson and John Burroughs, former Boing engineers. In 1972, they founded Cascade Designs in Seattle, under which the world's first self-inflating sleeping mat was manufactured and sold. In the following years, Cascade Design obtained patents for their solutions and continually innovated their product range - in 1986 they introduced a unique foam mattress, in the following years sleeping bags, lighter self-inflating mattresses, air pads with an extremely high R-value, and in 2020 patented valves for the mattresses.
Cascade Designs also markets high-end outdoor products under other brands such as MSR, Platypus, PackTowl, SealLine.
