Headlamp HM23 V2.0 LED, 300lm, AA batteries

The compact Fenix HM23 V2.0 LED headlamp offers a light output of up to 300 lumens and a beam distance of 88 meters. It is powered by a single AA battery, which provides up to 100 hours of runtime in the lowest mode (more than 4 days).

The light source is a high-end white Luminus SST-20 LED and a pair of red LEDs. The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling, and is fully waterproof to IP68 standards up to a depth of 2 meters underwater. The practicality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to remove the light from the head mount and use it as a small pocket flashlight. In addition, it is equipped with a removable steel clip, so you can easily attach it to your pocket or strap. The end of the flashlight is magnetic, so it can be easily attached to anything made of iron.

The headlamp can be tilted in the holder over a wide range to set the desired lighting direction.

The headlamp offers a total of three power modes in white light mode and electronics with a battery life extension function. In 300 and 50 lumen modes, it gradually reduces power to achieve a longer lighting time (see the battery life graph for each mode). The red light can be activated in steady or flashing mode (both with a power of 5 lumens).

Good parameters, low weight of only 86 grams (including alkaline battery) and a favorable price make the HM23 V2.0 ideal for a wide range of sports, leisure, work and everyday activities. It is suitable for evening runs on roads, camping, hiking, fishing and hunting. It can also serve as an emergency flashlight in your car for unexpected situations, and thanks to its high durability, it is also suitable as a work headlamp for demanding conditions.

How to use

• Unscrew the battery tube cover. Insert the battery with the positive pole facing the headlamp and the negative pole facing the cover.
• The headlamp will turn on in the last used white light mode when the button is held down for 0.5 seconds.
• When turned off, the headlamp will turn on in the last used red light mode by quickly pressing the button twice.
• When turned on, the headlamp will turn off by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
• When the headlamp is on, short presses of the button will cycle through the power modes in the order of 3 - 50 - 300 lumens (when turned on to white light) or red 5 lumens - red flashing (when turned on to red light). The flashlight has a memory and always turns on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light).
• Low battery warning - if the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp automatically switches to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. When the lowest power is reached, the headlamp flashes 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to replace the battery.
• Headlamp lock - when the headlamp is off, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds, the headlamp will flash four times in red mode to indicate the locked state. It can be unlocked by holding the button again for 3 seconds. Unintentional switching on of the headlamp can also be prevented by enabling the battery lock.

Note

• Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Remove the battery from the flashlight if you will not be using it for a long time or if it is discharged. Otherwise, especially with disposable batteries, leakage may occur and damage the headlamp.
• If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is almost dead – replace it.
  • The battery tube cover is loose – tighten it.
  • The electrical contacts are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
