Panasonic Eneloop PRO are premium NiMH batteries with high capacity, low self-discharge and extended life.
Not only have they eliminated self-discharge, they also have significantly reduced internal resistance. This makes them suitable for appliances with high current consumption, e.g. high-power flashlights. Conventional NiMH batteries suffer from high self-discharge, which also worsens over time. Therefore, if you put the device away for a while, it may soon switch off during further use due to dead batteries. If you use batteries with low self-discharge, you will not be surprised by this problem, e.g. a flashlight that is used occasionally will continue to light up after a long period of inactivity. The manufacturer claims a minimum of 85% capacity retention after one year of storage.
- Low self-discharge - while all other rechargeable batteries self-discharge over time, these batteries retain 85% of their capacity after one year of storage thanks to eneloop pro technology.
- Significantly reduced internal resistance - making them suitable for appliances with high current consumption, e.g. high-power flashlights.
- Immediate use - they are pre-charged and ready for immediate use, no need to recharge them before use.
- Compatibility - compatible with all battery powered devices and can be charged using standard Ni-MH chargers.
- Low temperature suitable - excellent performance at 0 °C and can be used at temperatures down to -20 °C; even at these low temperatures they have a very low tendency to self-discharge, although the operating time will be shorter than at room temperature.
