The new generation of the compact headlamp Fenix HL16 brings a luminous flux of up to 450 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 104 meters.

Power is provided by three commonly available disposable AAA batteries. The light source is a modern LED Luminus SST-20 with a white shade of light, which is located in the main reflector. red LED Everlight 2835 is used for additional lighting. The headlamp has the function of extending the lighting time (gradual reduction of power).

A total of 6 power modes are available, including an SOS flash mode for emergency situations. The headlamp is equipped with a wide comfortable strap. The strap is perforated for quick sweat drainage and equipped with reflective elements that ensure good passive visibility when running on the road. The headlamp can be tilted in the holder and thereby set the desired lighting direction (60° range).

Thanks to the weight of only 97 grams, the Fenix HL16 will serve well as a running headlamp as well as a headlamp for camping, hiking and other outdoor activities. Thanks to the choice of several colors and the favorable price, the HL16 is also great for children.

All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery life, water resistance, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

• red light: 200 lumens (8 hours) -> 70 lumens (20 hours) -> 5 lumens (150 hours) -> SOS flashing 5 lumens (300 hours)

Control

White light is turned on by pressing the right button for 0.5 seconds, red light by holding the left button. The white light has a memory and will always turn on in the last selected mode. The red light will always turn on to a constant 5 lumen mode. You can switch to other performance levels at any time during operation by pressing the appropriate button. Headlamp will be turned off by holding down any button for 0.5 seconds. White and red light cannot be activated at the same time.

The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous activation, e.g. when transported in luggage - hold one or both buttons pressed for 3 seconds. To unlock, hold both buttons for 3 seconds.

Protection against overheating - If the internal temperature of the headlamp exceeds 65°C, the output will automatically decrease.
