Blaster M module with flame mode

The Blaster M tracer unit from Acetech, featuring a simulated flame effect.

Original standalone Blaster M tracer module. This is a unit that the manufacturer Acetech fits, for example, into the innovative Raider tracer silencers with simulated flame effect.

The module is designed either as a spare part or for users who have their own silencer from another brand and can insert this tracer module into it, thereby converting their existing silencer into an tracer one.

The tracer unit is designed for green tracer BBs – see the range below. With every shot, the unit’s sensors detect the passing BB and the flash tube briefly flashes. This illuminates the BB, creating a fantastic effect as it flies through the night. It is visible throughout its entire flight path and mimics tracer ammunition.

However, the most interesting feature of the Blaster M is its imitation of a muzzle flash. Three LEDs are positioned at the end of the silencer; when a shot is fired, they illuminate the departing BB and the gas around the barrel. The muzzle flash is most clearly visible when used on gas-powered guns, as it illuminates the residual gas after the shot. The effect is also visible when used on electric guns, albeit slightly less so.

The Blaster M can be used in three modes:

• Tracer with flame simulation (up to 12,000 BBs per charge)
• Flame simulation only (up to 12,000 BBs per charge)
• Tracer only (up to 24,000 BBs per charge)

The Blaster M features intelligent power management – it automatically switches to sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, simply shake the unit. It can, of course, also be switched off completely using the power button.

The unit has an IP65 rating (dustproof and resistant to water jets). This makes it ideal for outdoor use.

The tracer unit is securely housed in an aluminium casing with a matt anodised finish. It is powered by an internal Li-Ion battery, which, when fully charged, can illuminate up to 24,000 BBs, or 12,000 BBs in tracer and flame simulation mode. To charge the battery, you need to connect a USB-C cable (not included). You will also find a power button beneath the end cap of the tracer unit.

The unit’s status (power on, battery voltage, self-test result) is indicated by an audible signal and a colour-changing flashing LED.
