UV Flashlight

A UV lamp designed primarily for testing Wiley X photochromic lenses. The UV light simulates the effect of sunlight and makes it easy to verify the activation and darkening of photochromic lenses.

However, it can also be used in practice, for example, for:

• checking UV-reactive materials – to see whether the material reacts to UV radiation,
• demonstrating the UV reaction of various objects,
• a preliminary check of UV-fluorescent elements, provided they react to the given wavelength,
• testing certain UV security features and markings.

Simply switch on the torch and hold it approximately 1–2 cm in front of the front of the lens. The photochromic lens reacts to UV radiation in a similar way to when exposed to sunlight.

Key features:

• UV lamp for testing Wiley X photochromic lenses
• simulates the effect of solar UV radiation
• enables you to quickly verify the function and response of photochromic lenses
• Compact design suitable for use at home, in-store and during eyewear demonstrations
• Powered by 3 AAA batteries (included)

Warning: Do not look directly into the UV light.
