The delayer is mounted on the piston wheel between the axle and the pin. It is fitted without any gluing or screwing. When firing, the nozzle arm rotates around the delayer on the piston wheel. Because of this small part, the arm stays in the rear position longer and leaves the HopUp chamber open longer. Thus, the delayer can solve BB feeding problems with high ROF, or weaker (slower) magazines where the BB doesn't have time to be pushed into the chamber.
The delayer is applicable for V2, V3 and M249 gearboxes.
This delayer is designed for gears with 4 mm diameter axle, e.g. for RetroArms reinforced gears. Standard gears have a 3 mm shaft diameter and are not designed for this delayer, a 3 mm delayer is designed for standard gears.
The RetroArms brand is based on the purely czech company Retro FACTORY s.r.o. Representatives of the company have experience with airsoft since 2001. In the beginning, the company was mainly a trading company, where the main activities were the design and commissioning of components for cooperation and assembly into functional units.
RetroArms does not compete with cheap chinese producers, but relies on the original design and high quality of manufactured parts.
Since 2013, it has a new production hall, CNC machine tools for machining complex components, a parts warehouse and a team of experienced workers and developers.
