CNC Low profile bushings 9/4mm - 6pcs
Low profile sliding bushings are made by CNC turning from high quality steel class 19 313, 1.2842 (90MnCrV8) and hardened to a hardness of 58HRC. The high-quality material used and the resulting hardness predetermine the use of high-load bearings.
These bearings have an inner diameter of 4 mm and are designed for gears with a 4mm diameter shaft, e.g. for RetroArms reinforced gears. Standard gears have an inner diameter of 3 mm and are not designed for these bearings, standard gears are designed for bearings with an inner diameter of 3 mm. Keep in mind that to shim gears with a 4 mm axle, you will need 4 mm shims.
The low profile of the bearing guarantees trouble-free use in version II gearboxes, where the selector plate shoud have a problems with standard bushings. These low profile bushings do not touch the selector plate at all and do not affect its function or the operation of the selector plate.
The bushings are several hundred millimeters (0.04 mm) larger than the diameter of the hole in the gearbox to prevent them from falling out, and it is therefore necessary to "knock" / press the bushings into the gearbox. This can be done, for example, with a large hex key and an ideal copper hammer, or we have a special Bearing Tool in our offer (SKU: 10696). We recommend lubricating the bushings with grease.
The RetroArms brand is based on the purely czech company Retro FACTORY s.r.o. Representatives of the company have experience with airsoft since 2001. In the beginning, the company was mainly a trading company, where the main activities were the design and commissioning of components for cooperation and assembly into functional units.
RetroArms does not compete with cheap chinese producers, but relies on the original design and high quality of manufactured parts.
Since 2013, it has a new production hall, CNC machine tools for machining complex components, a parts warehouse and a team of experienced workers and developers.
