Electronic trigger unit Falcon 2 ETU - rear wiring

FALCON is a digital firing control unit for airsoft (FALCON Digital Firing Control System 2.0). It enables multiple firing modes, trigger sensitivity adjustment and includes protective functions for the motor and battery.

Main modes (quick setup summary)

• MODE 1 – 1 to 5 shots (adjustable burst): move the selector to SAFE, hold the trigger for 3 s and then release (the motor will emit a vibration). Then press the trigger 1–5 times according to the desired burst length — the unit will remember the number of presses and after moving the selector to AUTO it will fire that number of rounds for each trigger press.
• MODE 2 – trigger sensitivity setting (3 levels): with the selector in SAFE hold the trigger for 3 s, release; then press the trigger 2× to activate the sensitivity setting. One press = high sensitivity, two = medium, three = standard. Then move the selector to SEMI or AUTO and the trigger will behave according to the selected sensitivity.
• MODE 3 – 1 shot on pull and 1 shot on release (pull & release / binary): with the selector in SAFE hold the trigger for 3 s, release; then press the trigger 3× and switch the selector to SEMI for this mode. In this setting the weapon fires one shot when the trigger is pulled and a second shot when it is released. To cancel, return to SAFE, hold the trigger 3 s and press the trigger 3× again.

How to restore previous mode / memory
To restore the previously saved mode move the selector to SAFE, hold the trigger for 5 s and then release — the unit will return the stored mode. Mode selections are saved in permanent memory and remain after battery removal. Always move the selector to SAFE and hold the trigger for 3 s before choosing a mode.

Protective functions

• Motor / gearbox protection: if voltage is abnormally high or another dangerous condition is detected, power is cut automatically to protect the motor and gears — the unit will emit 2 vibrations.
• Battery protection: FALCON is compatible with 7.4 V and 11.1 V Li-ion / Li-Po batteries; the manual specifies an operating range of about 6–14 V. If the voltage is too low or too high the unit will cut power and alert the user. Low voltage is indicated by 5 vibrations — recharge the battery before further use.

Vibration codes (quick reference)

• 1 vibration = power on
• 2 vibrations = system error or jammed module (motor/gearbox cut)
• 3 vibrations = over-voltage
• 5 vibrations = low voltage (recharge battery)
