The Czech company VAR, based in Jablonec nad Nisou, is world famous for its unique VAR gas canister stoves. Both the climbing special stove VAR 1 with a point flame and its successor VAR 2, which began production in 1994. The stove is characterized by a patented nozzle placement in the burner part and easy maintenance. Today, VAR offers not only stoves, but also gas canisters and camping cookware.
