TAC-41 A bolt action rifle - OD
The Silverback TAC-41 A is an innovative rifle from the Silverback Airsoft brand, known for its excellent SRS rifle, which has a so-called BullpUp design and quickly became very popular and won many awards. The TAC-41 A is a new iteration of the very popular TAC-41 (not a BullpUp like the SRS), which was conceived from the ground up by Silverback Airsoft and, while slightly inspired by the M24 and M40 rifles, has no real-world design.
The originally shaped body is very comfortable in the hand and has a great grip. The TAC-41 A is shorter than the original TAC-41 P and features a folding stock. The body of the gun combines the use of CNC aluminum and high-quality polymer. On the forend there is an M-LOK, which this time, unlike the previous TAC-41 P, is made of aluminum. On both sides of the weapon we find 3 QD (Quick Detach) slots for mounting sling swivel.
The stock is adjustable for length, the cheek pad height can be adjusted as well as the height of the butt pad, all without the need for tools. There are two more M-LOK slots on the bottom.
The entire rifle with the stock folded out is 92 cm (up to 110 cm) long and weighs 2.80 kg. The safety is located above the trigger on both sides and the controls can be flipped to either side, making it suitable for both right-handed and left-handed players.
The aluminum tapered outer barrel has a 24mm clockwise thread and is therefore compatible with suppressors for SRS.
The magazine has also undergone a change, which now holds up to 110 rounds. From it, the balls are fed into the chamber by a shaft with a capacity of 20 balls, which (unlike most other rifles with this feeding solution) has a fuse, thanks to which the balls do not fall out after removing the magazine, but remain inside the shaft. If necessary, this fuse can be unlocked by simply pressing it and the balls can be released from the shaft.
Inside the weapon there is a steel spring guide equipped with a ball bearing for smoother operation during cocking and longer spring life, a steel piston and a steel trigger mechanism.
The inner barrel is made of brass, it has a length of 330mm and an inner diameter of 6.05mm.
The hop-up chamber is made of aluminum on CNC machines, it is compatible with AEG bucking and has an anti double-feed system - protection against feeding two balls at once. Pressure regulation here is handled by a very good TDC and is regulated by a wheel on the outer barrel. It is embedded at the height as the upper side of outer barrel, so it does not protrude from it, so you can use any optics without restrictions.

NOTE: Silverback tests its guns before shipping. Several magazines are fired with the gun to verify the full functionality and muzzle velocity of each piece. The slide is then treated with grease and placed back in its packaging. Because of this, the slide and receiver may bear signs of use.
