Army Armament R30-4 is a gas-powered airsoft pistol featuring a Gas Blowback (GBB) system, inspired by the iconic Colt 1911 platform. The pistol features a full metal construction, with both the slide and frame made of metal, ensuring high durability and realistic weight. This variant also features a lightweight skeletonized trigger with cut-outs, giving the pistol a slightly sport-oriented appearance.

The pistol includes a functional grip safety along with other controls typical of the 1911 platform. It is designed for use with Green Gas and features an adjustable hop-up for fine-tuning range and accuracy. For quicker target acquisition, the pistol is equipped with fixed sights with contrast dots (3-dot).

The metal outer barrel features realistic ".45 ACP" markings. Inside the barrel, there is an internal M11x1 thread, allowing the installation of a suppressor via an adapter (adapter not included). The pistol is compatible with a wide range of TM-spec 1911 magazines (e.g. Tokyo Marui and other compatible variants), making upgrades and replacements easy.
