BAR M1918A2 Gen3 light machine gun replica - Real Wood

BAR 1918 (Browning Automatic Rifle M 1918) is an American automatic weapon occupying the middle position between submachine guns and light machine guns. This category is sometimes referred to as heavy automatic rifles. It was used as the standard light machine gun in the U.S. infantry armament from the years of World War I until it was replaced by the M60 light machine gun.

The gun is full-metal with stock, forearm and transport handle made of dark wood. Thanks to the quality workmanship and materials used, the weight of the weapon is an impressive 5.8 kg. The length of the weapon, which is 1.2 m, must also be taken into account.

The package also includes an adjustable folding bipod, which, like the whole weapon, is made of metal. The rear sight is adjustable in height and sideways. The sling mounts are again made of metal. The charging lever is functional, and when cocked, the hop-up chamber adjustment is accessable.

The metal magazine has a capacity of 160 BBs and is a hi-cap magazine. The battery is inserted into the stock, where there is plenty of room for large capacity batteries. The gun has a Mini Tamiya connector.

The machine gun fires in Full Auto mode only. However, the selector lever has 3 positions - "S" Safe, "A" Full Auto, and the "F" position which has a reduced rate of fire that mimics the real rate o fire of a real steel weapon.

Inside the gun is an atypical gearbox with a quick-change spring, steel gears, 8 mm ball bearings and a S&T Gen3 Core Electronic Control Unit. The adjustable hop-up chamber is plastic, the barrel is 6.08 x 500 mm.
