The Thompson is an American submachine gun developed by John T. Thompson during World War I. It became especially well known during the Prohibition era in the USA, when it was widespread in both the ranks of the American police and the underworld. The Thompson was also known as the Tommy Gun or Chopper. The gun was especially popular for its compactness, effective .45 ACP ammunition, and high reliability. The Thompson submachine gun was widely used in the U.S. Army and also formed part of the armament of Allied troops during World War II. It was used until the end of the Vietnam War.
Airsoft replica Snow Wolf SW-05W is a faithful copy of the legendary American Thompson M1A1 submachine gun, known from World War II. This replica is an ideal choice for vintage gun enthusiasts, reenactment enthusiasts and collectors.
The receiver and outer bareel of the weapon are made of metal alloy, which ensures high durability and realistic appearance. It also gives the weapon an impressive weight of 3.2 kg. The stock, handguard and forend are made of real dark wood with a pattern giving the weapon an authentic look.
On the receiver are functional SEMI / AUTO fire selector, safety and magazine release. The hi-cap magazine is metal with a capacity of over 400 BBs.
Inside the gun is a version 6 gearbox equipped with metal gears, 6 mm metal bearings and a plastic piston with one metal tooth. Hop up is adjustable by means of a rotary ring. This is easily accessible in the ejection window area. The battery is inserted into the stock, where there is sufficient space for a miniblock type. The gun has a Mini Tamiya connector.
