The HK MP5 (Maschinenpistole 5) is a 9 × 19 mm Parabellum submachine gun developed in the 1960s by a group of designers at the German arms manufacturer HK. There are more than 100 variants and clones of the MP5. The MP5 is one of the most widely used submachine guns in the world. It has been used extensively by various SWAT teams in North America, although it is being replaced by variants of the M16 rifle in the 21st century. The weapon is equipped with a fixed, folding (PDW model) or extendable stock (SD6, A5, J type). Its main advantage is its compactness. It achieves high accuracy and reliability, but the construction system used makes the weapon highly production intensive and therefore expensive. The weapon is used by Czech and Slovak special forces.

The replica"s components are made from plastics and metal. The stock rail, front iron sights, fire mode selector, magazine release and the trigger are made of metal. Magazine box and two sling mounting points are made of steel. Adjustable length of the stock allows the user to adapt the replica to his or hers physique and preferences. Small size of the replica makes it perfect for operations in urban areas and in small, confined spaces. Replica"s battery is located inside the front grip.

The latest version of the replica features an innovative muzzle velocity adjustment system. The gearbox is equipped with a special type of the spring guide which length, and thus the replica"s power, can be adjusted with a hex screw. The adjustment range is c.300–360FPS. Access to the adjustment screw is very easy – just remove the stock and place a hex key in the visible opening of the body and gearbox"s back wall.

The replica includes a hi-cap type magazine holding 250 pellets.

Jing Gong is one of the world's largest airsoft OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) factories with a long history of manufacturing and large production volume.
