Airsoft machine gun MK46 Mod.1 - black

The Mk 46 is a variant of the M249 SPW that was adopted by USSOCOM. The program that led to both the Mk 46 and Mk 48 was headed by the US Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWAR). Like the SPW, the barrel changing handle, magazine insertion well, and vehicle mounting lugs have been removed to save weight. The Mk 46 has the option of using the lighter SPW barrel or a thicker, fluted barrel of the same length.

The S&T MK46 Mod.1 is a lightweight polymer version of the popular M46 with an easily upgradable V2 gearbox.

The machine gun's body, forearm, stock, flash hider and bipod are made of durable nylon. The metal parts such as charging lever, trigger, pins, switches, outer barrel etc. are made of metal, making the weapon very light (for a machine gun) - only 3.5 kg. The gun has fixed sights - elevation and side adjustable rear sight. On the forearm there are 6 RIS rails with a length of 15,5 and 18,5 cm. Another RIS rail for optics installation is on the upper side of the body.

Included in the package is a hi-cap Sound Sense box magazine for 2000 rounds. The magazine has two modes, namely a constant supply of BBs to the gun or sound activated. Thanks to a sensitive microphone, it detects the moment when the gun fires and automatically switches on the BB supply. Of course, a box magazine for 2000 rounds can also be installed (see Related products).

The big advantage of this gun is the gearbox used - it is a standard V2. This provides an easy upgrade path. There are far more spare and upgrade parts options for V2 gearboxes than for M249 gearboxes. The gearbox has 8 mm bearings and a quick change spring. The hop-up chamber is plastic, with a rotary ring control.

The battery is placed above the gearbox - it is necessary to use split Li-Po 7.4 V batteries (e.g. SKU 9030, 1264, 11940), or in the space between the gearbox and the stock (SKU 4252).
