TR80 DMR G3 System, Full metal, ETU, remote control
The TR80 DMR from G&G is an airsoft replica of the 7.62 rifle with innovative G&G G3 split gearbox. It is a very nicely crafted gun, made of high quality materials and with great workmanship.
The gun receiver and stock are made of exceptionally durable polymer. Among other things, the pronounced indentations for the index finger when holding the weapon catch the eye. The difference between the metal CNC M-LOK forearm and the polymer body is not at all noticeable at first glance, which shows the quality and workmanship of the polymer. The selector lever, oversized magazine release and bolt catch are metal, the magazine release is made of metal. The charging handle is located on the left side and the shell ejection window is on the right side. G&G's innovation with this model is the hop-up adjustment, which is done via a screw located at the end of the forearm above the barrel. This solution is simple and convenient for quick hop-up correction.
The selector lever has only 2 positions - safe and semi, as expected for DMR. However, thanks to the programmable ETU, the positions can be reprogrammed according to the user's requirements. Setting is done using the programming card included in the package.
The GOS-V12 stock is both extendable (6 positions) and foldable to the left side of the gun. Under the stock pad there is a space for a battery with a length of about 10 cm (the gun has a Dean-T connector). There are metal bases for QD strap lugs on both sides of the stock and a RIS rail on the underside for attaching a monopod. The rail can be flipped out 90 degrees to act as a monopod itself. There is a raising cheekpiece at the top. This is a patented G&G solution. We recommend compact Li-Po batteries 7,4 or 11,1 V see Related Products.
The 13" forearm is metal, CNC manufactured with M-LOK system. The top of the gun features a classic RIS rail with removable sights that are metal, laterally and height adjustable. There is a short metal compensator mounted on a standard 14 mm CCW thread.
The magazine in the package is a low-cap, with a capacity of 48 BBs. We also offer other variants of hi-cap and low/mid-cap magazines for this weapon.
And what does it look like inside? You'll find a innovative G3 gearbox. It is a split gearbox, so the disassembly is even closer to real steel weapons. In addition, it offers several nice innovations.
The G3 System is G&G's innovative split gearbox and hop-up chamber with lots of great features. With the G3 System, the gun gets a realistic break down, really fast spring change and easy ETU replacement.
The programmable ETU allows for pre-cocking feature, burst adjustment (1-3-5), and diagnostics. The piston pre-cocking feature reduces time to fire by more than half. Settings can be made using the trigger or simply by the included G3 System remote control. The selector switch uses an optical sensor for maximum reliability.
Use the G3 System remote to control the gun's power-cut system function, burst settings, pre-cocking, ETU diagnostics and reset settings.
The hop-up chamber has also been redesigned and can be easily removed by simply turning it (Lock-in system). Adjustment of the hop-up chamber is done with a screw at the end of the handguard, on the gas block. The chamber contains a patented IR sensor system that will not allow further firing if an empty chamber is detected. This solution not only increases the service life of the gun (no firing "on empty" in case of a jammed BB or empty magazine), but mainly brings the operator closer to the real steel gun. In order to continue firing after changing magazines (reloading) it is necessary to press the bolt catch button.
- Innovative Lock-in hop-up chamber
- Patented power-cut system
- After magazine reload, press bolt release button to resume fire
- Simple and fine hop-up adjustment in 36 steps
- Pre-cocking feature
- Modular QD electronic board for easy replacement
- Optical burst control module
- Replaceable motor-angle plate
- Quick change spring guide
- 8 mm ball bearings and steel gears
- G&G IFRIT motor
- Split gearbox design
- G3 System remote controller
The barrel is 475 mm long, and we measured a stable muzzle velocity of 130 m/s in our tests. A fine-tuned assembly.
In summary, a beautifully crafted airsoft gun with many tweaks and improvements that confirm G&G as a leader in the airsoft innovations.
