A machine gun in a different, but quality way!
G&G Armament (Taiwan) is a manufacturer with a long tradition. It offers high quality workmanship, performance and reliability.
The CM16 LMG is a light machine gun, which is partly derived from the M4. The lower receiver, gearbox, hop-up chamber and stock are similar to it. The massive upper receiver with a long RIS rail slightly reminds the M249. Notice the massive metal barrel with a flashider and the folding front sight. The stock is retractable and it is a relative of the Crane stock - you may know it from the GC16 series. It is a really universal weapon, which is still compact, but it offers superior firepower.
The receiver is mostly made of durable polymer. Don't be afraid of its durability, it's a high quality material, however, parts are assembled very well, there is no wobbling. As a result, although it's a machine gun, it's very light. Parts such as charging handle, barrel and sights are made of metal.
The 2500 rounds magazine is an ingenious product. Forget the unreliable M249 boxes. You load it into the magwell as the standard M4 magazine; however, they're compatible. There is a hatch on the left side (which holds the .223 ammo belt imitation - included in the package), in which you put the BBs. There's a velcro on the left side covering the battery compartment - the magazine is powered by 2 CR123A batteries (not included). The magazine starts to turn the loading wheel automatically as it is inserted into the magwell and stops automatically as well - it can recognize when the spring is compressed. Finally, it's of a great quality and, however, hidden in a nice MultiCam cover.
Inside the weapon, there is a metal gearbox with an 8mm ball bearings, steel gears and M120 spring. Velocity of this gun is about 125 mps (410 FPS). Suitable ammunition is 0,25g BB - please use the best BBs available - G&G or BLS. Recommended battery is 11,1V!
The gearbox is the same is it is in the GC16 series. The trigger contacts have been replaced by
electronic micro-switches, and electronic circuit is hidden in the stock tube.
It is called as E.T.U. (Electronic trigger unit).
Advantages:
• Ultra-fast trigger response!
• More sensitive trigger with a shorter stroke.
• MOSFET - protect trigger contacts against burning and worn.
• Ability to set BURST instead of full auto mode. It means three shots per one
trigger press. (Set by holding trigger on the semi mode more than 10 seconds
after disconnecting the battery goes off)
The motor is high-torque, so that the weapon has no compromise in terms of rate of fire.
There is a massive handguard, which has a standard RIS rail at the top and bottom part and M-LOK gaps on the sides. It is a very popular and advanced system when using locks easily and quickly attach the mounting RIS rails. The system is very flexible and it is up to the user how much, how long and where the rail is fitted. These rails needs to be purchased separately according to user needs. The advantage of this system is its low weight. Barrel, which passes through the foregrip, firmly bolted and there is no absolutely wooble.
The battery is inserted into the body of the plastic retractable Crane LMT style stock, which has six-positions and the locking mechanism. The machine gun has a classic MiniTamyia connector.
In the package, a grip with an integrated bipod, patch and a .223 ammo belt imitation are included.
ATTENTION
Once you set up the hop-up alway set the hop-up to minimal - the adjustment knob is turned to the left.
Shoot several BBs, gently pull the adjustment knob to the right.
Repeat the process until you reach the desired hop-up effect.
Too much hop-up (knob turned right) can cause the BB jam and, in the extreme case, piston damage.
THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THIS TYPE OF DAMAGE.
