BF-V8A UHF 400-470MHz Single Band Radio

Compact radio BT-V8A with mini size and maximum ease of use, replacing the older, very popular BF-888S model.

It adds some improvements not only in appearance, but for example a power saving mode - standby up to 5 days, up to 18h of talk time. Charging is possible via the desktop charger (included), as well as via the micro USB connector, which is located under the cover with K-plug connectors. IP67 protection.

The radio operates in the 400 - 470 MHz band. It is equipped with a sixteen position switch, where each position represents one frequency in the specified range.

The antenna has a length of 6 cm and is removable. The station connector is a classic SMA-male.

The battery has a capacity of 1500 mAh / 3.7 V. The power output is approximately 2,2 W, it can be reduced to a low power of 0,5 W.

Programming

• The radio can be programmed using a Baofeng USB cable (not included) and a simple program available for download on the vendor's website or in the "Documents" tab (identical to the BF-888S), or you can use Chirp-next.
