The advantages of self-inflating sleeping mat are comfort, relatively low weight and easy unfolding. Just loosen the valve and unfold the mattress. Thanks to the inner foam, which begins to return to its original shape, the mattress inflates spontaneously. Alternatively, you only need to inflate once or twice through the valve to increase the firmness of the mattress.

The BCB mat has an effective mummy shape. It tapers in the leg area where the mattress does not need to be as wide. It has the same tapered corners in the head area. This allows you to reduce the weight of the mattress, which you'll appreciate on longer hikes. Included in the package is an adhesive repair kit, a drawstring strap to keep the mattress collapsed, and a carrying case with drawstring.
