M-Tac was founded in Ukraine in 2005, originally as a retailer of airsoft guns and accessories under the name "Militarist." During the Maidan protests in 2014, the company shifted its focus to the production and development of tactical clothing and equipment for Ukrainian armed forces and special units. M-Tac quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality workmanship, use of premium materials such as Cordura, Polartec, and Multicam, and testing in combat situations and extreme conditions. Since 2017, it has expanded into foreign markets. Its motto, "Born of revolution, tempered in battle," aptly sums up its development and current focus.
