Description

Compass is a simple device for orientation and navigation in the field. The basis is a compass for determining cardinal points, supplemented by a rotary protractor for measuring azimuth. The magnetic arrow is rotated in the direction of magnetic north and south due to the earth's magnetic field. The first compass (specifically a liquid compass) was built by the Czech inventor Josef Ressel.

The base is a compass with arrow, fluorescent rotating ring and points mounted on a transparent plastic plate.

The plate has a 60 mm / 2.3 inch ruler on the side, a scale of 1:25000 km / 1:50000 km / 1:62500 miles / 1:24000 miles and a magnifying glass. A lanyard is included.
