AK bolt cover with scope RIS rail
Putting a scope or a red dot sight on an AK is a topic for a discussion, because it always require a compromise (e.g. the unability to fold the stock when using a side mount). Finally, we can offer to you a practical solution. The RIS rail of 190 mm lenght is placed on the top of the bolt cover, so the rail is long enough, it is close to the shooter and also close to the barrel axis. Furthemore, it doesn't affect manipulation with the weapon in any negative way.
This part is equipped with a simple rear sight, so you can aim even in the case you haven't put another sight on the rail.
It is necessary to remove the original rear sight when placing this bolt cover. You put the included screw through a hole originally for the rear sight.
Every weapon is a little bit different, so we tested the compatibility for you.
The bolt cover fits best to newer Cyma AK models with a steel reciever (sometimes it may require a thinner screw, but generally no problem) as the CM.040, 048 and similar models.
If you slightly modify the bolt cover by filing the front part, then it's possible to fit it on a CM.031, CM.028, CM.042 and E&L (tried on an E&L AKM).
It doesn't fit on models with an ambidextrous charging handle (CM.040I) - but if you make a cut for the left handle, it will fit.
