HPA adaptor for GBB SC (Self Closing) - TM/TW thread
Self-Closing adapter for connecting the HPA system to the weapon. Unlike conventional HPA/GBB adapters, it maintains the pressure in the magazine when the hose is disconnected. It is installed in place of the GBB magazine fill valve. The QD Foster Series 2 socket (the world's most widely used standard) is then connected to the adapter.
- Allows GBB weapons to be propelled with the HPA system by changing the fill valve on the magazine or weapon
- One-way or self-closing adapter - holds the pressure in the magazine
- Even after disconnecting the hose, several shots can be fired with the magazine - the so-called "Emergency Shot"
- Much quieter hose disconnection
- Compared to conventional versions, it significantly saves air - no pressure leaks out when the hose is disconnected (with conventional adapters, the entire magazine is drained)
- Compatible with TM/TW threads
- Compatible with US QD Foster Series 2 sockets - world standard
- Made of AlSi 304 stainless steel with blackened surface
- Made in the Czech Republic
- Package includes 1× HPA adapter and 2× O-rings
INNOVATIVE ONE-WAY DESIGN
Need to shoot but don't have a hose connected to the magazine? That's not a problem with the new EPeSní SC socket, depending on the type of gun and magazine size, up to 5 full emergency shots can be fired. In addition, the self-closing function makes reloading much quieter and more economical. When the hose is disconnected, the pressure in the magazine stays and does not leak like with conventional HPA adapters.
And the best thing about the SC coupling is that it allows hybrid mounting. You just need to be a bit handy and have a drill and an M5 or M6 tap. After modification, you can keep the magazine fill valve and therefore use the magazine (without changing the valve first) for both gas and HPA at will.
HPA ADVANTAGES FOR GBB
The proper functioning of gas guns is highly dependent on the ambient temperature. Especially in sub-zero temperatures it is practically unrealistic to use a gas gun. The gas pressure decreases as the ambient temperature drops and the gas in the magazine is in a liquid state. It gradually evaporates during firing, which further cools the entire system.
But all that changes with the HPA. Compressed air is still in the gaseous state and therefore there is virtually no cooling during firing. In addition, its pressure is not as dependent on the ambient temperature as it is with gas. Simply connect your HPA system to the gun using the EPeS HPA adapter and you can let the slides ring out even on ice or snow.
EPeS
The EPeS airsoft brand was established in early 2015 and in 2017 the company Enhanced Performance Shooting, s.r.o. was founded. Later renamed to Epes evolution s.r.o. in 2021.
EPeS is mainly engaged in the design and manufacture of precision parts for airsoft guns. The priority is the production of parts that are missing on the market, or bringing innovation and improvement of standard, commonly available parts. All production and development are carried out in the Czech Republic.
