Practical additional gasket for CO2 magazines used in GBB gas blowback pistols, rifles and SMGs, designed primarily as a quick repair solution for magazines that are leaking CO2 around the gasket.
The gasket is installed over the original, already compressed gasket. This provides a simple and quick solution that can help restore the magazine's seal without completely disassembling the magazine and removing the original gasket.
With a thickness of 1.5 mm, it is designed to minimise gas leakage when installing the CO2 cartridge while still allowing the cartridge to be properly pierced.
Main features
- quick solution for CO2 magazine leaks
- installed over the original compressed gasket
- suitable as an emergency / repair gasket
- soft and easy-to-install material
- 1.5 mm thickness
- 8 mm outer diameter
- EPDM rubber material
- Made in Japan
Compatibility
The gasket is designed for CO2 magazines from various manufacturers. It is primarily intended as a quick repair solution for magazines where the original gasket has become compressed and is no longer sealing properly.
Important: If the CO2 cartridge cannot be pierced after it is screwed into the magazine because the piercing pin does not reach the cartridge, this gasket is not suitable for that particular magazine.
With some magazines, it may be necessary to adjust the outer diameter of the gasket. If required, the edge can be carefully trimmed with a knife or another suitable tool.
Alternative for long-term use
This gasket is primarily intended as a quick and emergency solution. Its soft material makes it easy to install, but its service life is shorter compared to a reinforced urethane gasket.
It will therefore gradually wear and become damaged during use. If a CO2 leak occurs again after some time, remove the damaged gasket and install a new one.
For long-term and more reliable use, we recommend replacing the original gasket with a reinforced MOD urethane gasket (2 or 3 mm) designed for CO2 magazines.
Maintenance and important precautions
Regularly inspect and clean the gasket. When screwing the CO2 cartridge into the magazine, use moderate force. Excessive tightening may damage the gasket or accelerate its wear.
A white residue on the surface of the rubber is not a defect. It consists of compounds used during rubber production, such as antioxidants or vulcanisation additives, which may gradually migrate to the surface. This does not affect the functionality of the product.
Compatibility and performance may vary depending on the specific CO2 magazine design, manufacturer, production batch and individual unit.
