The barrel is made of one piece of bronze and then electroplated with nickel. This makes its surface very hard and smooth, which is the basis for barrel durability and shooting accuracy.
The window for the bucking is much larger than in conventional barrels. It is thus possible to use a bucking with a large pressure area (up to 7 mm), thanks to which it is possible to use heavier BBs and obtain even better accuracy and stability of the BB. The barrel is compatible with both AEG and GBB type bucking. T-N.T. T-Hop and TR-Hop buckings are recommended.
The package also includes a T-Hop bucking, which has a specially curved surface of the protrusion and thanks to this the rotation and stability of the BB flight is increased.
Solar Eclipse (S+) barrel
In a conventional barrel, the BB is pushed to the underside of the barrel when passing through the hop-up bucking pressure. This increases friction and reduces the hop-up effect.
At the beginning of the S+ barrel, in the area of hop-up bucking, there is a micro hump on the underside of the barrel (height 0.04 mm) that lifts/centers the BB in the barrel and reduces its friction against the barrel in the initial phase of the shot. This allows you to use the hop-up more efficiently and get greater rotation with minimal energy loss.
