Material is good quality plastic, just like the gun body. Scope has a clear picture, but suffers from backlight reflection and is a bit small in size. It needed to be adjusted to the end of its position both horizontally and vertically to be accurate and shoot exactly where the crosshair is pointing. Because of this, the front lens looks a bit weird as it is aligned drastically to the bottom left, it is spectacularly not in the center of the housing. But it works just fine.
