RIPSTOP

This is a fabric developed in the USA during World War II. It is made using a special technique and features a very good weight-to-stability ratio and high tear strength. Thicker warp or weft threads are interwoven into the thin textile at intervals of 5-8 mm, giving the material a distinct grid structure.
