Battery Li-Po 7,4V 550mAh 20C for AEP with mosfet

The development of rechargeable Li-Po (Lithium-Polymer) / Li-Ion (Lithium-Ion) batteries is constantly moving forward, and the hobby that is airsoft could not be left out, of course.

What is the advantage of Li-Po / Li-Ion batteries?

• they do not suffer from memory effect
• very low self-discharge of about 3-5% per month (compared to about 10-15% for Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh)
• low weight and high energy density - half the weight at the same or higher capacity compared to Ni-Cd,Ni-Mh cells
• very small size while maintaining very high currents
• can be recharged very frequently without prior discharge
• wider temperature range for safe operation compared to Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh

Please note that Li-Po / Li-Ion must not be discharged below 3V per cell and should not be charged above 4.2V per cell. If a cell is discharged (e.g. long term storage) below 3V or overcharged above 4.2V an irreversible chemical reaction will occur rendering the battery inoperable - this damage is not covered under warranty. Only use special Li-Po cell chargers with a good quality balancer for charging. In this case, it is not worth saving too much on the charger.
