Airsoft rifle M14 EBR GBB - full metal
The Mk 14 Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR) is an American military selective fire battle rifle, and a designated marksman rifle (DMR) chambered for the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge. It is a variant of the M14 battle rifle and was originally built for use with units of United States Special Operations Command, such as the United States Navy SEALs, Delta Force, and task specific Green Berets ODA teams/units.
The M14 EBR GBBR rifle from WE is a beautifully crafted gas replica of the modern version of the M14 EBR SOPMOD rifle.
The gun is full metal and its weight is 4,9 kg. As with the original, only the handguard, stock and cheekpiece are plastic. The buttplate is made of soft rubber.
The handguard has a 27-slot RIS rail to mount optics or sights along the entire upper length and a second, 2-slot rail at the slide. Additional RIS rails are on the sides (2x 9 slots) and the underside of the handguard. There are more than enough options for attaching accessories or bipods. The outer metal barrel has a 14 mm left-hand thread with a flash hider installed.
The rear sight is adjustable in height and sideways. All controls are functional - charging handle, safety, selector lever. Receiver including all parts is metal.
The attachment of the weapon to the sling is solved by steel lugs between the stock and the body and on the handguard.
The retractable 6-position stock is also metal. The cheekpiece is plastic for greater comfort with a height adjustable metal mechanism (9 positions). The buttplate is made of soft rubber.
The gas magazine has a capacity of 20 BBs. The package also includes a rod magazine filler. For more convenient filling, however, we recommend adding a classic speedloader.
Performance of the gun with 0,20 g BBs and GreenGas is 135 m/s.
M14 EBR GBBR rifle is designed for all enthusiasts who appreciate realism, high performance and quality workmanship.
Of course, gas weapons do not only bring superlatives. The negative side is the more difficult adjustment of the HopUp system which affects the expanding gas, or the sensitivity to low temperatures (working range 15-25°C). Gas guns are not for beginners, but for a specific group of players who want to take the realism of airsoft to a higher level.
Some tips from our experience:
- Ensure that the internal metal moving parts are lubricated with silicone oil. Lubricate them regularly.
- Take breaks between magazines. The cooled internal mechanism must be warmed up again after cooling by gas. That's a common rule with gas guns.
