This weapon was designed and built by Barrett Fireteams Mfg. Inc., specifically by owner and designer Ronnie Barrett in 1980. It was introduced as the Model 82 (M82, standardized by the US Army as the M107), but it is better known as the Barret Light Fifty. Its modernized version M82A1 appeared in 1986. This is a special forces sniper rifle. Its range is over 1800 meters. It was designed to destroy lightly armored personnel carriers.
Replica of the famous M107 Barrett sniper rifle. This is a manual design where the air piston is extended by pulling the piston back and forward. Both the body and the barrel are metal and give the weapon a decent weight of 6kg and durability. The compensator at the end of the barrel is made of ABS plastic. The butt of the stock is rubberized against slipping off the shoulder. The bipod is made of steel. Gun have folding sights and a monopod on the stock for better stabilization.
The weapon achieves a decent performance of 125 - 130 m/s (420 FPS) with the basic spring. The springs used here are standard for AEG electric guns. The piston is aluminum. The catch is made of a metal alloy. HopUp is metal, adjustable.
The magazine for 90 rounds is made of polymer. We recommend purchasing a magazine loader.
The long RIS bar on the upper side of the weapon directly encourages the installation of a massive scope. The bar is of standard dimensions and any type from our offer should fit. There is no scope in the package.
We recommend this weapon to all beginners and intermediates who want to stand out from the crowd.
