The AS-03 rifle is another variant of the popular Ares Amoeba Striker AS-01 and AS-02 rifles. Ares not only changed the design, but also improved the functional parts. In particular, it has improved the trigger mechanism, which now catches the piston at the classic 90-degree angle, while maintaining a short trigger stroke and smooth running.

The main change in this variant, is the short barrel and the absence of the stock. This made it the shortest and most agile sniper rifle on the market. That is why many people use it, for example. at CQB, ie in Close Quarters Battle / in buildings.

The rifle has several desirable attributes, such as a cocked bolt indicator, a 23mm threaded barrel, a short working range of cylinder / bolt for fast charging, a steel cylinder head, M-Lok standard handguard locks and more.

The sniper rifle has, thanks to a very good seal, despite a very short inner barrel, power about 120 m/s (400 FPS). Thanks to the fact that it uses classic AEG springs, it is not a problem to use stronger ones. The piston and the spring guide are made of metal. Hop-Up chamber, barrel and bucking are VSR standard.

The capacity of the magazine is 45 BB's.
