The BERSA Thunder^® Pro HC was originally developed as a military/police weapon. It was designed to function in adverse conditions and provide decisive stopping power. Since 1958, BERSA® has been manufacturing accurate, reliable, and robust pistols using advanced technologies. The Argentine military and police forces around the world commonly use BERSA pistols as their official service weapons. BERSA is currently one of the largest private companies in Argentina.

The BERSA Thunder^® Pro is a semi-automatic 6 mm airsoft version with a full license from BERSA. It is powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge stored in the pistol grip. The BBs are loaded into a removable magazine.

The Thunder^® Pro HC is a lightweight, full-featured pistol with an ergonomic design, made of durable ABS plastic. The integrated Picatinny rail allows for the mounting of lasers or tactical lights. The handle and slide bear authentic BERSA markings, and each gun has a unique serial number.

The pistol has no blowback, so all the CO2 power is used for the shot. This gives it an above-standard muzzle velocity of 135 m/s (1.8 J). The pistol has a fixed hop-up.
