The SCAR (Special Operations Combat Assault Rifle) is a modern assault rifle of Belgian origin that has gained popularity among various units worldwide, especially special forces. The SCAR system consists of a pair of weapons in two calibers with a 60% share of identical design elements and a 90% identical ergonomic layout. The first weapon is the so-called light type, the SCAR-L 5.56 mm assault rifle. The second weapon is the so-called heavy type, the SCAR-H 7.62 mm battle rifle.

The CYMA FN SCAR-L (CM.063), under license from FN Herstal and Cybergun, is a very well-crafted replica that faithfully copies its real-steel counterpart thanks to the combination of materials and the official FN Herstal license.

The construction of the weapon corresponds to the real model: the upper part of the body (upper receiver), including the handguard with RIS rails, is made of metal, which gives the weapon the necessary rigidity and durability. The heart of the weapon is the proven metal V2 gearbox (M4 standard), which provides a stable muzzle velocity of 120 m/s (with 0.20g BBs) in its base configuration. For maximum comfort during gameplay, the rifle is equipped with ambidextrous metal controls – the fire selector and the magazine release. The bolt catch serves an aesthetic function (imitation) here.

The battery is connected via a classic Mini Tamiya connector and is stored directly in the stock. A major advantage is full compatibility with widely used M4-type magazines.
