ESB B-10 is a bullpup gas shotgun from the world famous G&G company.
The shotgun is designed for quick and efficient "cleaning" of rooms during CQB games. The advantages of this gun include, in addition to the great material workmanship that is standard with G&G, compatibility with M4 AEG magazines, a huge gas chamber in the stock of the gun and easy operation. The shotgun fires 5 or 10 BBs per shot with a dispersion that you'll appreciate in close combat.
CQB with the ESB B-10 is an exciting experience - the trigger is DoublyAction Only, so pulling the trigger will pull the hammer and fire. No need to cocking. You just set the mode - 5 or 10 BBs per shot, and you're ready to go. Combined with the drum magazine, with almost no reloading required, this is the ultimate gun that you are able to clear an entire room with single shot.
The gas magazine is integrated in the stock. This allows you to use both conventional AEG M4/16 magazines, and at the same time this solution has the advantage of a truly huge gas supply - you can shoot 6-7 magazines for 100 BBs per fill.
The weapon is excellently crafted. The upper body with RIS rail and forearm is made of duralumin on CNC machines. The lower body, stock and pistol grip are made of high quality polymer. The outer barrel, fire selector (SAFE/5/10) and magazine release are made of metal. The magazine release has a large enough surface area for fast reloading and, like the selector, is ambidextrous, which left-handed shooters will appreciate. On both sides, the shotgun has steel QD locks for sling swivels. The weight of the gun is over 3 kg.
The top rail houses a fiber optic sight. However, it is questionable whether one needs to aim accurately with this gun. There is also a RIS along the entire length of the top rail for attaching accessories, and the M-LOK system can be found on the forearm.
The barrel has a 14 mm CCW thread for installing a tracer unit - giving room cleaning a new dimension. Because the barrel is short (200 mm, ends about halfway down the outer barrel), the upper body and outer barrel must be removed to install the tracer.
There is space in the pistol grip for storing small accessories such as batteries.
The trigger is of the DoubleAction Only type - when pulled, the hammer is cocked and the shot is fired. The gun has no hop-up. It is not designed for long range shooting, its effective range is up to 15 meters - it's just a CQB special.
The big advantage is the use of the classic AEG M4/16 magazine. Included in the package is a 105 BBs magazine, made of high quality polymer. It has the typical G&G tongue that ensures all the BBs are pushed into the chamber. You need to keep an eye on it if you are inserting an empty magazine into the gun. The tongue should be pressed into the magazine to prevent breakage.
The G&G ESB B-10 is an unconventional, great and fun gun for any CQB game.
