MCP 556, Full metal, Electronic trigger, Black
The MCP 556 from G&G is an airsoft replica inspired by the H&K UMP in a modern design with a 5.56 (M4) magazines. It is a very nicely crafted gun, made of high quality materials and with great workmanship.
The gun receiver and stock are made of exceptionally durable polymer. Among other things, the pronounced indentations for the index finger when holding the weapon catch the eye. The difference between the metal CNC M-LOK forearm and the polymer body is not at all noticeable at first glance, which shows the quality and workmanship of the polymer. The selector lever, oversized magazine release and bolt catch are all ambidextrous, made of metal. This increases the comfort of operation not only for left-handed shooters. The charging handle is located on the left side and the shell ejection window is on the right side. Opening it takes you to the hop-up chamber, which is plastic, but again very well made. The hop-up is adjusted by means of a rotary ring.
The stock is both extendable (6 positions) and foldable to the right side of the gun. The stock pad is made of rubber for higher comfort, and includes metal bases for the QD sling on both sides. There is a raising cheekpiece at the top, with a fairly large battery compartment underneath (the gun has a Mini Tamiya connector). This is a patented G&G solution. We recommend compact Li-Po batteries 7,4 or 11,1 V see Related Products.
The 8" forearm is metal, CNC manufactured with M-LOK system. The top of the gun features a classic RIS rail with removable sights that are metal, laterally and height adjustable. There is a short metal compensator mounted on a standard 14 mm CCW thread.
The magazine in the package is a mid-cap, with a capacity of 105 BBs. We also offer other variants of hi-cap and low/mid-cap magazines for this weapon.
And what does it look like inside? You'll find a reinforced G2 gearbox with a blue cylinder and 8 mm bearings, a programmable mosfet Gen.4 (programmable 3-shot burst), a micro switch on the trigger, a counter-pressure piston head, a piston with a single metal tooth, and steel wheels with a G&G IFRIT motor. The hop-up chamber is plastic with a rotating ring that makes the hop-up seamless to adjust. The barrel is 233 mm long, and we measured a stable muzzle velocity of 122 - 123 m/s in our tests. A fine-tuned assembly.
In summary, a beautifully crafted airsoft gun with many tweaks and improvements that confirm G&G as a leader in the airsoft innovations.
