Description

This adapter allows the VAR II to be connected to gas tanks with a 3/8" thread, for example Meva 2 kg.

The adapter is first screwed onto the stove, and then the whole set onto the big tank. Removal from the tank is done in reverse order, i.e. first unscrew the whole kit from the tank, then unscrew the adapter from the stove.

After connecting the VAR II stove to the big tank, it is necessary to regulate the flame to a lower power during operation, as the pressure in these tanks is several times higher than in butane cartridges. The point is that if the flames "dress" the vessel, the cooking will not be greatly accelerated and the gas consumption will increase considerably.

This remark applies in general, as it is always worth regulating the power of the stove. This is high on the VAR II stove so that it cooks even on a cold, running-out cartridges, then only opens to full power. Less powerful stoves run at full power all the time, you cannot add more power and they stop working on a cold tank.

Important notice

Due to the special thread profile, this reduction is only fully compatible with the VAR II stove. If used in combination with other stoves, there is a risk of destroying both parts! When operating the stove using the reduction, please follow the instructions and operating instructions supplied with the appliance.
