The Lightstick is one of the best-selling light stick models. It is a plastic rod about 15 cm / 6" long and 1.5 cm / 3,8" diameter with chemical fluid. Inside is a glass capsule with chemicals. When the stick is bent by force, the glass capsule breaks, the liquids are mixed, and a chemical reaction (principle of chemiluminescence) occurs, resulting in visible light without heat. Shining time is on average 12 hours, at least 6 hours. Lightstick provides safe, reliable and powerful light under all conditions (wind, rain, underwater).
Once the light stops, it can no be used again. This is a disposable product.
Fits just the hand, has an integrated hook and a lace hole. Lightstick perfectly fulfills the function of emergency lighting, at home, on the road, in the car basically anywhere you need. The most important advantage is a conical shape. The Lightstick will not automatically activate when the lightstick falls to the ground, it falls into the bottom of the backpack, or simply wears it in your pocket.
It is used primarily by soldiers, firefighters, divers, climbers while fishermans and wherever it can fulfill the purpose of emergency lighting. Another important function is marking people during night trips, marking routes during night fights, or signaling various commands over long distances, the lightstick can be seen up to a distance of 500 m.
